SNU Trust 2023 Accounts
The Board is pleased to advise that the accounts and annual report for the SNU Trust are now complete, have been approved by the Board and signed off by Price Bailey as auditors. The documents will now be included in the Trust’s brochure to be circulated to members prior to the Annual General Meeting in September.
Interest Rates
As is customary at each meeting, the interest rates on all members accounts were reviewed and after discussion it was agreed to hold rates at their current levels. It was felt that the uplift in rates which took effect from 1 January 2024 meant that the products offered by the Trust remain competitive when compared to the open market.
Ray Taylor Memorial Fund
During the meeting the Board discussed the efforts of a new committee of a church, working hard with the support of the Spiritualist National Union, to undertake repairs to improve their church building enabling them to grow their membership.
It was agreed to make an award from the Ray Taylor Memorial Fund of £1793 to the member to put them on a more stable financial footing, allowing them to build their funds and to look to the future.
