The S.N.U. Trust offers three interest bearing accounts :

Deposit Account

Members must keep a minimum of £250 in the Deposit Account. Membership includes the right to apply for an S.N.U. Trust mortgage ( Advance ).

Investment account

An instant access account available to all members, with no restriction on deposits or withdrawals.

Super Account

A high interest account for members with at least £2250 to invest; requiring 90 days notice for withdrawals.

Requirements :

• minimum of £250 in Deposit Account
• minimum of £1000 in Investment Account
• initial deposit of £1000; plus multiples of £500 thereafter

Withdrawals

Withdrawals can be made immediately ( on demand ) from all accounts, providing the withdrawal request is accompanied by two authorised signatures.

Super Accounts normally require 90 days notice; although urgent withdrawals are acceptable, but attract a 90 days interest charge.

Investing

No limits are imposed on depositing of money in the various accounts; nor are any signatures required. Members simply send cheques accompanied by the tear-off slip of their previous statements, which contains the pre-printed account code. Cheques accompanied by a letter stating the account concerned will also be accepted.
